Most Loved Items
Most Loved Items From Each Month
Check out the most loved items from you all throughout the year! Each month I will post the top items that you guys have loved and link everything for you to check out. This is one of my favorites posts because it really tells me what you are looking for. Fun fact: so far, there has been an Amazon find every month!
September's Favorites
So many repeats this month! This may be because they are so good, or because I find myself wearing the same thing every weekend...or both. Next month will be for sure a mixture of summer styles and fall as we head to a tropical fall break and then back to cold Tennessee.
Amazon pink sweatshirt: this is a dupe for the super popular Lululemon scuba hoodie that you have probably been seeing everywhere. I stayed true to size, but probably could have gone up one size for a less fitted look.
Denim dress: I need this exact dress in a long sleeve version. You could add a cardigan and belt for fall, but if they would make this exact dress and wash in every style, I would buy it.
White T-shirt: this is the perfect basic T that you will need for layering this fall and winter. It comes in several colors and is under $10, which is a steal!
Premier Protein Pumpkin Spice: I shared a reel on how to use this for a pumpkin spice cold brew and have been making the hot version literally every morning. I just ordered this 24 pack because it is a limited time flavor and rill run out soon.
Amazon work pants: this is another repeat for you and for me! I have worn the three colors I have (navy, black, and white) several times and the trouser style is super on trend this season. The best part is the faux button and stretchy waistband!
Pleated skirt: I felt like a total fall princess in this skirt when I wore it a few weeks ago. On the website, they have it styled with a teal shirt that looks great. I also think you could add a cardigan and a belt for a super chic look.
Travel bag: I have not stopped using this bag since I got it. I feel like Mary Poppins when I have it because it holds so many things! The best part of it is the separate shoe container so my clothes don't get dirty. You can use code Melissa25 for 25% off of this one!
Black loafers: This is the shoe of the season. And just like the sneaker and dress trend, I hope this is here to stay! These styles are coming in and out of stock because of how popular they are so make sure to check out this post to find several options.
August's Favorites
August started hot and ended hot. Everyone is posting fall transition outfits, but it is still close to 90 degrees for me, so leggings and sweaters may have to wait a month or so. However, back to school clothes are teacher outfits are in full force! This month has some potential fall outfits and some great dupes for less.
White denim skirt: I have been on the hunt for one of these for a long time and finally found it on sale. It fits true to size, but make sure to wash it in a bag. the ends are raw and it has the potential to fray more in the wash.
Clothing rack: I had been using a regular silver rack, and it just was not getting the job done (which probably means I have too many!). I got the larger size and it is so pretty! It is so sturdy and I was able to put 95% of it together on my own.
Wide leg cropped jeans: I have these in white and pink and they are the perfect workwear and fall piece. They look cute with flats, wedges, and sneakers!
Lululemon skort: I honestly cannot believe that there are still some of these left in multiple colors! It is on sale for under $50. I got the long version and it is perfect for golf and Friday spirit days at school.
Denim dress: If you get anything from this post, get this dress! It is so cute, well made, and comes in so many colors.
Amazon work pants: I posted these in navy, black, and white and you all loved them. The regular length is perfect for flats, and the long length is perfect for a 3 inch heel or wedge. Also, they have an elastic waist!
Summer Lovin'
Well, it's official. I was a major slacker this summer in terms of keeping up with my monthly Most Loved posts. Between school ending, my own school taking up time, and just needing to recharge, I am finally back with a recap of the summer's top favorites.
Belt bag: You cannot walk a mile without seeing these all over the South. I also found a really good Amazon dupe if you aren't lucky enough to find the Lulu one in stores.
Tory Burch slides: I actually love these more than the Miller sandal. They have way more cushion and I find myself reaching for these more often.
Steve Madden sandal: These are also a dupe for the Hermés sandal. They are constantly sold out on the website but I was lucky enough to find them in white AND black at a local Marshalls.
Addison Bay tennis dress: I would like to say that I was in the activewear trend before it became a trend and this summer has only continued my obsession. This one comes in the light blue and white and a white and navy.
Crochet dress: I had my eye on this dress for 2 years and finally pulled the trigger. It was a favorite on TikTok!
Purple linen shorts: These shorts were also a favorite from a TikTok series I did. My mom even loved them and bought the white pair!
Amazon bodysuit: Stop reading and get this bodysuit in every color. Double lined and comes in sooooo many colors. It also has over 22,000 reviews.
Neon activewear dress: The back is really the best part. This one comes in this neon green and a black and grey, and also comes with shorts! Code melisspop20 will get you 20% of this one.
Pink shorts: You've probably seen me in these at least once a week since I got them. They are a great length (not super booty shorts), lined, and the best pink color.
April's Favorites
There seems to be a trend for this month's favorites: dresses. That could be because that's what I am living in right now! A quick tip: ditch those biker shorts under your dresses and grab the Megababe Thigh Rescue. It is seriously a life changer.
Lululemon belt bag: This is a repeat from last month. If you saw my stories from our Charleston trip you know this was an impulse purchase that has led to a few more. I would also say this will be a contender for top favorites of the year.
Tail activewear top: I shared so many pieces from Tail lately and that's because we are moving into prime golfing and tennis weather. Make sure to check out the dresses as well! Code Melissapop20 still works on this!
White flares: Express could release these in every color and I would buy them. Make sure to get the long version!
Birdie sweater: I saw this on another blogger and both myself and my mom immediately bought it. It also seems you all loved it as much as we did! If you loved this one, check out this other style.
Yellow tie dress: This style is my current favorite. The midi length is such a classic style and yellow is such a popular color this season.
Orange and white dress: If you don't already know, I am always looking for cute orange and white pieces for gameday and this dress delivers in both areas. Also, who can say no to a puff sleeve?!
Floral tie dress: I wore this dress in one of my favorite pictures that I have posted so far. This would also be a great wedding guest, wedding shower, or baby shower dress.
March's Favorites
Bring on the sandals and sundresses! It is officially spring and my wardrobe has changed dramatically. Everything I bought and everything you all have loved is full of color. There was also a surprise purchase during spring break that turned into one of the most popular items for this month.
Lululemon beltbag: This was a total impulse purchase for me during spring break, but 100% worth it. It was so nice to be handsfree! I got the black and can't wait to wear it all summer long.
White flare jeans: the dark denim color was a most loved item for the year, so there is no surprise the white version is already on the list. Be on the lookout for a reel showing multiple ways to style these!
Green Amazon dress: You probably saw me twinning with Valerie from @Midlifeposhcloset in this dress and I know she wasn't the only one who loved this. This is the perfect dress for work but would also work as a wedding guest dress.
Backless Amazon dress: this dress was the perfect summer gameday dress this last fall. I got so many compliments as we walked to tailgating that I had to re-share it.
Eyelet Target dress: keep an eye out for this one...it keeps coming in and out of stock. I had more luck in stores with the white and the orange but want to blue one now!
Midi bow Target dress: this is another one that keeps coming back in stock, but in different patterns and colors. Makes sure to size down in this one!
Colorblock two piece bathing suit: I bought this immediately when I saw this and will probably snag another color. However, make sure to check this one out as well. It less expensive and seems like the same suit. Size up in both!
February's Favorites
This month was a mix between winter clothes and shoes that were on major sale and spring items. I will say, my feed is full spring right now and I am here for it. However, one of my favorite spending tips is to buy out of season. So, if you see a pair of boots marked down or a sweater dress you love, get it now!
Target sneakers: this trend was popular last year and it has done nothing but get stronger through the seasons. If you do not have a pair of white sneakers you love, grab these. They are so comfortable as well!
Open cardigan: this coatigan was a popular answer to the sweater blazer and this more expensive version. However, this one has the same great quality but for a fraction of the price. It is also super versatile. Check out this reel that shows how to style it 5 different ways.
Distressed jeans: the Express jeans are back and better than ever! It seems like both Abercrombie and Express have revamped their denim and they have become super popular again. This distressed, straight leg version is a great option for all seasons. For spring and summer you will see these styles with sneakers or sandals.
Flare jeans: This was the top seller for me BY FAR this past month. I have talking about these for months and I am so happy you all love them as much as me. I also just got these flares in white for summer!
Green sleeveless dress: this is a new Amazon find for me, but was quickly a favorite for workwear and as a wedding guest dress.
Pink work pants: two words for you: elastic waist. They have a hook closure with an elastic waist and are by far my favorite work pants. They are also the perfect length for a 2-3 inch heel.
Body contour bodysuits: if you have not snagged one of these, get on it! I have 5 of them (three in this style and 2 long sleeves). They are true to size, double lined on the front, and not full coverage (which I prefer).
Gold sandals: these are a dupe for a much more expensive pair and should be at my doorstep this afternoon! I had my eye on them all summer, but they go out of stock so quickly I had to snag them asap when they came back in stock!
January's Favorites
A new year means a lot of new items to feature! We are starting off 2022 with a lot of new additions to the list and a lot of pink...and I wouldn't have it any other way. However, be prepared to see fewer sweaters and more spring items. Warmer weather is on the way!
Amazon headbands: I wore these for 12 hours before I gave my review on stories and they officially passed the headache test. I do not take my headband recommendations lightly so when I said they left me pain free, you all scooped them up quick.
Pink bow shirt: This is probably the prettiest shirt that I own. You'll see this featured on my spring transition blog post coming soon, but really it can be worn any time. It comes in 3 colors and is worth every penny.
Pink side button sweatshirt: This has been on major sale recently and such a good casual piece that actually looks dressier than it is. The inside is a fleece material, but still light weight.
Plaid coatigan: This was an impulse purchase for me that got rave reviews when I posted it to stories and on the feed. The best part of this coatigan is the color is perfect for spring. Make sure to size down!
Red sweater dress: I have this dress is two colors but the red has been flying off the Amazon shelves as Valentine's day approaches. It runs true to size and can be worn on or off the shoulders.
Heart cardigan: This has been a favorite since last year when I posted it with an all white outfit. I have several cardigans from the same Amazon store and the quality is unbeatable.
Faux leather leggings: I featured the Spanx leggings in my post about how to style them 7 different ways, but these Amazon dupes popped up right after and are getting rave reviews. Definitely a great option for a fraction of the price.
December's Favorites
This month's Most Loved items represent a mix of things from the gift guides and holiday wear (yay for parties being back!). One of these will definitely be on the list for Most Loved for the entire year...any guesses??
Workwear pants: I got these this summer, but have worn them at least once a week since then. The length is great for heels or flats. Just make sure to size up 1 when buying.
Plaid blazer: The blazer is one of the most versatile pieces in my closest and can be worn any season. I get mine mainly from H&M and Target. This plaid one was very popular this fall.
Sequin skirt: Ya'll were loving the sequins this holiday season and I can't blame you. I posted on from this boutique several times and if you are local, they still have some for $20!
Wallet Ninja: This was on the stocking stuffer gift guides and it was my favorite gift to give a few years ago. I gave everyone in my family one! Now, I just need to get one for myself.
Amazon dress: I wore this last Valentine's Day and it fit like a glove. You all loved the red color for this holiday season, but they also have a light blue one you should grab. Especially since it was just announced as Pantone's color of the year!
Amazon sweater: It is hard to find Amazon sweaters that are good quality and inexpensive, which is why you all loved this one. There are several color-blocking options and the bell sleeves make it unique.
Canon camera: I'm not sure if it was all of my stalking of this camera or your clicks that made it a top Loved Item but either way, it is a good one. I recently made the jump from iPhone to camera when it comes to shooting pictures
November's Favorites
You will probably recognize most of these items from the gift guides this past month! I am not spoiling any gifts for anyone but a lot of people will probably be seeing some of these wrapped under their tree in a few short weeks!
Combat boots: I have already proclaimed my love for this trend on some of my Shop My Looks posts so these should come as no surprise. The pair linked on this post are the closest look-a-likes for a muuuucccchhhh more expensive pair and are so comfortable! I hoping this trend hangs on for a few more years.
Amazon joggers: I am betting these show up on my Most Loved Products of the Year post based on how many times that have come up on this page.
GG sneakers: these are also look-a-likes for a much more expensive brand. I have heard many people say the more expensive brand is worth it, but I just can't justify spending that much on sneakers. Heels or a bag maybe, but not these.
Nike shoes: I am hoping that these will have my name on them on December 25th! I have a lot of colorful sneakers and really needed just a basic white pair. Plus, I know they are in style because I see all of my high school girls wearing them!
Curling iron: this was my most clicked link on stories since I got the link feature. I will posting a tutorial soon so you can see exactly how I use it, but this is a 10/10 recommend. It cuts my curling time in half!
Amazon sweater: there were several hits this month from the reel I posted but this one was the most popular. It has a slight bell sleeve and a lot of color options to choose from.
Makeup bag: this is a great under $20 gift option for any girl or yourself. I like it because it has removable dividers and I can just pack it as is when traveling so I don't have to switch back and for between bags.
October's Favorites
This month was a hodge podge of items for most loved of the month. There were several bathing suits and coverups from our fall break trip that made the list, and there were also fall trends as the weather started to get colder. My prediction for next month: all of the cardigans!
Target shoes: I already had 2 pairs of white sneakers, so I wasn't sure I need another...until I saw these has a little bit of snakeskin on them (one of my predictions for winter trends!)
Amazon joggers: these are the new leggings. If you haven't jumped on the jogger trend, these area great pair to start with. You will also see these on a gift guide coming soon...
Flare jeans: this is one trend I am all about. I got the long length so I can wear them with heels and boots and have already styled them so many ways.
Denim jacket: this jacket is a class with a twist. The pearl and diamond details elevate this jacket and the boyfriend fit makes it still a little bit casual.
Blanket: in my opinion, this is better than the Barefoot Dreams blanket. I got the grey for our bedroom and I will also order the yellow for our guest bedroom.
Cargo jacket: this was another item from the Fall Trends post and a great alternative to the denim jacket when you need something to pair with jeans.
Bathing suit: this was a last minute purchase for our fall break trip and I have already gone back and bought another one in another color. The blue color blocking was so pretty on this one. Just make sure to size up 1!
September's Favorites
So many new additions this month! With denim and cardigan weather upon us, it was only a matter of time before they made their way onto the top picks for the month list. I expect to see many more sweaters next month!
Straight-leg, distressed jeans: the version I have is actually from the summer, but this season's version looks very similar. I am a big fan of the white sneaker trend, so these jeans are a no brainer for that look. In fall, I plan on styling them with cropped seaters and cardigans as well.
Chambray top: if you don't have one or two of these, then this should be on your "must buy" list for fall. This is a staple in my closet and can go with any look. Really, I consider chambray to be a neutral because of how versatile it is! Here is an example of how I styled mine.
Amazon leggings: these made the list last month and I have a feeling the same brand in the jogger version will make the list next month. These leggings are my weekend leggings, so not super great for high-intensity workouts, but perfect for everyday activities. I usually wear them for travel.
Elemis cleansing balm: I am 100% on the Elemis train and even started using the face moisturizer in the mornings as well. This cleansing balm takes off all of my makeup and I longer wake up with mascara still smudged under my eyes. It can be a little pricy but lasts forever. It really feels like a spa treatment for your face every day.
Amazon cardigan: this heart pattern was a favorite last February, but it was this aztec, fall print that you all loved this past month. These cardigans are such great quality. It is a thicker material, but still soft, with two pockets on the front. There are also so many patterns and colors to choose from!
Flare jeans: as soon as I posted these on stories I got so many questions about them! I had been looking for a flare jean for this year, and as soon as I laid eyes on them, I added them to my cart. I am usually between a 6-8 and went with the 8 long for these. They are the perfect length for a 3 inch heel heel or boot.
August's Favorites
This is one of the first months where there was only repeat! That means a lot of new items were added to your monthly favorite's list. There are a couple of Amazon finds that were no surprise, but a few great things for fall as well.
Straight leg jeans: these are an exact dupe for the Agolde pair that are more than triple the price. If you are looking to venture into the straight leg trend, these are the pair to start with. They are high waisted, have a button fly, the perfect amount of distressing, and didn't shrink when I washed them. So far, I have them in the denim wash and white. If you are in between sizes, go up one for these.
Amazon leggings: these first became popular as a dupe to the Lululemon align leggings. To be fair, I have never owned the align (they are not great for actually workouts), but I can say they are as buttery as everyone claims. They are high waisted, have pockets, and the perfect crop length (I prefer the 7/8 length). I have them in black, camo, and the dark camo color.
Express maxi dress: the colors and the the detail are what sold me on this dress. It has such pretty, feminine details, and the fit is on point. I will say that I sized down one to a small so if you are smaller chested you may want to consider that!
Target active dress: 4 months in a row...enough said.
Amazon swiss dot dress: this is the same as the spaghetti strap version that made the list last month, but perfect for fall. The sleeves are great for the office or as it gets colder and this wine color screams fall to me. I plan on wearing this with a denim jacket and booties all season long.
Amazon lavender dress: this one sold out on another site so I was so happy to find it on Amazon. The straps have the cutest pom-pom detail and the twirl factor is top notch. The top of the dress is smocked so it fits like a glove, and the bottom has so many layers you can't help but want to dance.
July's Favorites
A few repeats and a few new items were added to the list this month! I am have also found several other versions of these that I will link as well.
Amazon T-shirt dress: this dress has made the list for the last 3 months. It is one of those great basics that can be worn for errands, to work with a denim jacket, or on the weekends with white sneakers. Also, with pockets, what more could you ask for?
Target pink sandals: I had been on the hunt for a hot pink sandal and actually bought several from Amazon and ended up sending them back. These are very comfortable, run true to size, and a great addition to your basic denim shorts and white shirt outfit. Throw on this hot pink belt as well and you are good to go!
One-shoulder bathing suit: normally I am a two-piece girl, but I have been gravitating toward one-pieces with unique details this summer. This pink one was very popular last month, and this black one is very similar. It has a removable strap on one side, a cutout on the other side, and an attached, functional tie around the waist. Also, there is a code on this post for 50% off!
Active dress: this is another repeat from last month. Right now, the dress only comes in black and white, but I also found this version on Amazon that comes in several colors and is pretty much the same design.
White Amazon dress: the Swiss dot design has been EVERYWHERE lately. I wore this dress on our beach vacation and will be styling it with a denim jacket and booties in the fall on football Saturdays. I also just picked up this one for fall. The color is every better in person!
Sweater tank: these tops are the perfect layering piece for fall. It is lightweight, comes in a ton of neutral colors, and is a great transition piece from work to play. This is the bra that I wear under mine, but you could also just wear a strapless bra as well.
June's Favorites
Check out the best of June! Also, make sure to take a look at the Amazon Finds post for all things fashion, beauty, and home.
Baleaf Biker Shorts: This was the number 1 item from June for good reason. I order the 5 or 7 inch length and both stay put through high intensity workouts, running, and under golf or tennis dresses. They also have pockets! I have three white pairs and will probably be ordering more as the temperatures only continue to get hotter.
Amazon T-shirt dress: This item has been a most loved item for two months in a row! I even convinced my mom to buy it. It is the perfect length, has pockets, and can be worn with sandals, wedges, or sneakers.
Cut Out One Piece: I wore this during our trip to Tybee Island and featured it with the Bella Style kimono. It has great coverage, runs true to size, and the cutouts on the side are in the perfect place. My favorite part of the suit is the color. I love the two-toned pink and it looked great on the beach.
Target Athletic Dress: This is another repeat from last month and I haven't stopped wearing it. I have worn both the black and white on the golf course, running errands, and even as an outfit for the day. It has a built-in bra and built-in shorts. I personally love that the shorts are long enough so they don't ride up and the back is open so you can get a little bit of a tan while golfing!
Amazon White Dress: I have seen so many people wearing the short sleeve version of this dress, but I like the spaghetti straps and the tie at the waist on this one. The swiss dots make it look so classic and the white is perfect for summer. The dress is lined so no worries about it being see-through!
Blue Floral and Lace Shirt: I got this shirt for work when I have to go back and I feel like I can style it so many ways! I posted this with white jeans at the beach, but you could also wear it with white dress pants or with a cardigan for the office. The lace details on the sleeve make it so pretty and feminine as well.
May's Favorites
Square Toe Crossband Sandals: These were bar far the most loved item of May. The ironic part is that you all did not love them on stories! I think the pink began to grow on everyone...as it should. These are very comfortable and a fun summer shoe for a pop of color. They also come in several different colors so you have plenty of fun options for the season.
Target Activewear Dress: I actually bought this in black and white! I was shocked to see this in Target during my weekly stroll, but it is the perfect activewear dress: built-in bra and shorts, the perfect length, and open back (with support). I would have bought more if they had other colors! I plan on wearing this on the golf course and on the tennis courts this summer.
Espadrille Block Heel Sandal: This shoe is a great work option for spring and summer. The pink added in a little bit of color and the block heel made them comfortable enough to wear all day and into the night. So far, I have worn these with pants, dresses, and shorts.
Amazon T-Shirt Dress: Sign me up for all of the T-shirt dresses this spring and summer. Especially with the dress and sneaker trend taking off, you can't have too many. And, this one has pockets! It is the perfect length and great to wear with white sneakers or with sandals.
Halter Sweater Tank: I bought two colors of this tank for summer and for layering for work. It is lightweight enough to wear on its own or they can be great layering pieces under a blazer for work. Most recently, I styled it with a white blazer and girlfriend jeans for date night.
Amazon Open Back Dress: I have seen this dress pop up on so many bloggers recently and for good reason. It comes in many different colors and the open back gives it a fun, flirty twist. Perfect for a night out or grab a lighter color for daytime as well!
