White After Labor Day
How To Style White After Labor Day
Anyone else buy all of the white dresses and tops this summer and now trying to figure out how to wear them? Guilty! I stocked up on white dresses this past season and loved every minute of it, but I don't want to pack them away just yet. Also, add in a few other pieces and you have a re-purposed, brand new outfit! Check out my favorite ways to wear white after Labor Day. Hint: white pants will still be involved.
White Dresses
I have SOOOOOO many white dresses from summer that I want to keep wearing so I have been working on ways to make them more fall appropriate. For summer, I paired this dress with bright pink accessories. I tend to move toward more neutral colors as the weather gets colder, and there is nothing more classic than black and white. I also really wanted to venture into the combat boot and dress trend, so this seemed like the perfect outfit to try it. Also, if you are on the hunt for the perfect black denim jacket, this is the one I definitely recommend!
White Pants and Skirts
Yes, you can still wear white pants after Labor Day. The best thing about fashion rules is that they can be whatever you want! One of my favorite looks from last winter is actually these white jeans and a bright blue sweater. I am also looking forward to trying an all white look with these amazing snakeskin boots that I purchased this summer. If all else fails, you can call it Winter White if you are still feeling hesitant about it!
White Blazers
The blazer, in any color, is the best transition piece in my wardrobe. Adding it to an outfit can add structure, a little color, act as a jacket when you don't want to wear a jacket, and can easily go from work to play. In winter, I love wearing an all black outfit and then adding a white blazer to brighten it up a bit, and in fall, it is a great piece when those nighttime temperatures get a little chilly. I recently added this white vest to my collection and I cannot wait to style it with high waisted flare jeans and a black turtleneck!
